Oakwell Hall is one of the many cultural venues situated in the Spen Valley, close to Gomersal and was featured as "FieldHead" in the Novel "Shirley" by Charlotte Bronte.
Red House was the inspiration for "Briarmains" in the novel - "Shirley" by Charlotte Bronte.
